The Mackies Lifetime Workmanship Warranty

Every Mackies product is backed by our lifetime workmanship warranty. It's our commitment that your bakeware is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the operating life of the product.

What “lifetime” means. We warrant that your Mackies pans, trays and racks are free from defects in workmanship and materials for their working life — the operating life of the item in normal bakery use. It is not a warranty in perpetuity, nor a warranty against normal wear; it stands behind how the product is made for as long as the product is in service.

What’s covered

Defects in the fabrication, welds and structural integrity of the pan, tray or rack.
Non-stick coating that fails to adhere or delaminates prematurely under correct use — a workmanship failure, as distinct from normal wear.

Where we find a genuine workmanship defect, we’ll repair, recoat or replace the affected item.

What’s not covered

Mackies non-stick coatings are a high-performance consumable with a long but finite service life — typically thousands of bake cycles. Normal coating wear over years of production baking is expected and is not a defect; when a coating reaches the end of its life, that’s what our pan recoating & refurbishment service is for. The warranty also excludes damage from:

Cuts, scratches or abrasions from cutting implements, scrapers, tools or machinery.
Cleaning with alkalis, acids, high-pressure water or steam, or harsh and abrasive cleaners.
Baking above 245 °C, or baking empty (unloaded) pans.
Nesting pans without bottom straps, and general stacking, handling and wear and tear.

Following the care guidance supplied with your bakeware keeps your coating performing for its full service life.

How to make a claim

Contact us on 1800 BAKE IT (1800 225 348) or through our enquiry form. Please have your proof of purchase and a few photos of the issue ready; we may ask you to return the item so our team can assess it. We’ll confirm the outcome and the remedy — repair, recoat, replacement or credit.

Custom and recoated products

Custom-tooled products carry the same workmanship warranty as our stock range. Items processed through our recoating service are warranted for the workmanship of the recoat.

This warranty is provided in addition to the rights and remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
